The beauty itself leads to small pretty village of Iagodina ( 1100 m. above sea-level ) close to the bulgarian-greek border at about 30 km. away from the town of Devin. The most beautiful part of the route Devin - Iagodina is the Buinovsko Gorge - a fantastic creation by the river of Buinovska, that is the main feeder of the river Vucha. The power, greatness and the beauty of this Rodhopi Mountain's river in these parts cannot be described with words - it's a place to see. Indeed , hidden in the mountain skirts, just beneath th St. Iliya peak to the North, and Dulata peak to the south - Rodhopi mountain going through the greek border, is situated the village of Iagodina - keeping pretty white houses and luxuriant meadows, rich of herbs, as well as people full of hospitality, diligent, quiet and friendly bulgarians that keep the bulgarian dialect and traditions. The most noticable object from the geography surprises is the pearl in the crown of the cave tourism - The Iagodina Cave. Above is situated another interesting place - cave home from the late neolith. - one of the few evidences for the primitive man leaving traces for their living and existence. Nearby of the village of Iagodina via road or eco-paths can be seen the "Diavolsko Garlo" cave and the "Haramiiska" cave, the famous "Trigrad Gorge", the beautiful "Diavolski most" and the waterfalls "Pruskaloto". This is the true fortune of the village. For the keen fisherman there are many rivers around and the dam lake "Batak" ( 18 km. ) and the river Vucha (12 km.) in wich you can find trout, carp and sheatfish and many more. In the area there are 35 places of interest, that need to be discovert by eyes - the only way to feel the magic, that by many local and foreighn people is said to be living here. The local people are well known for their hospitality. There is a hotel in the village and about 150 rooms to let. Nice and calm, the surrounding nature predispose to a full and healthy rest.
